Hi, I am John Doe.
I am here to introduce you to Slacktoday and show you what look a profile page with all fields completed. You can add a long and custom description. Basic formatting options are available (bold, italic, link, bullet list, etc).
Think this page as your "official" public slackline profile. Ready to be shared on your favorite social networks. You can add your presentation or anything related to you and the slackline. For example if you are used to keep a Slackline Journal, feel free to write it here as well. The website is mobile-friendly to let you write during a trip :)
There is place also for your video's (from youtube, vimeo or daily motion). You can indicate your slack record, your slackline skills, your association, your sponsors and even your favorite spot (if exists on Slacktoday).
To be visible on the Slackliners map simply define your basecamp (it's optionnal). The basecamp is your daily slackline location. And because we are travelers, you can change it at any time !).
Ohoh, there is also the possibility to specify that you have a couch at disposal for slackliners in trip.
Finally, to find slackliners (or locations) around you, define your position (see box "where are you now" in top of page"). By default only the results in a range of 500km from the position defined are visible but you can adjust the filters !
For example you can filter the map to find slackliners in a range of max 100km from your position, who practise Waterline, and are experimented, and have couch for you . Sound good isn't it ? :)
Please, sign up and give a try during a raining day. This is just the beginning of a community service dedicated to the Slackline world. For now you can see other profiles and contact a slackliner via webform or by socials networks. Read the About page for more info. Much more is coming if the community follow.
Send any suggestions to email@example.com. If an option is missing we will do our best to implement it.
